As the leading brain health and dementia prevention coach in the world, I can tell you that losing your keys isn't normal no matter your age. Dementia starts in the brain over 20 years before symptoms start.
Yeaaaaa, it's kinda nuts.
I started my Dementia Prevention Program when I was 25. My Brain SPECT scan showed that my blood flow and brain activity were very poor and if I didn't start a protocol, things were going to get really bad really soon.
Losing your keys is a symptom of a deeper issue that can slowly creep up and cause your brain, body, work life, and relationships unnecessary stress. While working with couples, families, and companies, I can tell you that memory loss is a huge concern and complaint.
Your brain has over 100 trillion cells... that's more than all the stars in the known universe. One concussion or exposure to mold can seriously affect your brain yet simple things like vitamins, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and targeted nutrition can not only get your brain function healthy but can also age your brain in reverse.
The truth is that many doctors and even some alternative practitioners are posed as healers when in actuality they are drug pushers. More importantly, they believe in a medical model that no longer fits our reality. Most people don't need stimulants or statins. What they need are protocols that WORK.
I know doctors who work at "world-renowned brain health centers" who have refused to read any of the research or success stories from neuropsychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen or neurologist Dr. Dale Bredesen... the two men I look up to most when it comes to brain health and dementia prevention.
At the end of the day, YOU are in charge of who YOU hire to care for your health.
