Why Organization Is Crucial For ADHDers

Mar 14, 2024

Organization for ADHDers can be quite the chicken-and-the-egg situation. This is why it's vital to address the home and office environment first-- then we can declutter the minds of ADHDers to make space for other things they need to fully access their superpowers.

If you think of ADHD as having too much clutter in the brain, think about these cluttered home facts from that lens.

  • 87% of 6,000 people said that their home organization impacts their overall happiness
  • getting rid of clutter eliminates 40% of housework in the average home
  • the average American burns 55 minutes a day - roughly 12 days a year - looking for things they know they own but cannot find
  • 50-80% of what we keep, we never use
  • the global home decor market was worth $616.6 billion in 2019
  • 50% of homeowners rate the garage as the most disorganized place in the house

This is why I'm so passionate about helping ADHDers and their families and/or get organized!! Organization saves you time and space. Time is the biggest commodity on Earth. Without enough physical space for manifestations to come in, we halt our dreams.
